From June 24 to July 1, the KHIDI representative office made a business trip to Korea with a delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The business trip of the Kazakh delegation for cooperation in the field of health care was organized following the meeting of KHIDI and representatives of the Kazakh health authorities held on March 25 and April 8 this year, headed by Aigul Syzdykova, Director for International Cooperation Strategy of SK Pharmacy, Kazakh Invest, Nur- Sultan, South Kazakhstan Cluster Association, Ordamed, Dolce-Pharm, as well as representatives of local manufacturing and distribution companies.
The purpose of the visit of the Kazakh delegation is to compare the model of formation of a medical pharmaceutical cluster applicable to Kazakhstan by visiting Korean clusters of advanced pharmaceutical medical equipment and facilities of Korean medical industry companies, as well as local production through a round table between Korean and Kazakh pharmaceutical and medical companies.
The Kazakh delegation visited the Songdo-Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, visited the IFEZ Public Relations Department, and the Smart City Urban Development Center, and also discussed the status of the Songdo biocluster.
Kazakhstani companies Kazakh Invest and SK Pharmacy held a round table between Korea and Kazakhstan to announce the main strategies and business directions, and 37 domestic healthcare companies participated in the presentation event of local companies for the distribution and production of medical equipment at a B2B meeting. At the same time, the round table led to the signing of 5 memorandums of understanding on the export of products and local production cooperation between companies from both countries.
