Participation of the Korean delegation and KHIDI in the IV Eurasian Congress of Rheumatologists

IV Eurasian Congress of Rheumatologists took place in the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) in Moscow and was dedicated to the 60^th anniversary of Rheumatology Institute RAS. A memorandum of cooperation is the field of continuous medical education, clinical research and experience exchange was signed between the Korean, Russian and Kazakh boards of rheumatology. An international symposium was also held in the frame of the Congress, where representatives of the League of Euro-Asian Rheumatologists, Korean College of Rheumatology, Kazakh College of Rheumatology and Association of Rheumatologists of Russia participated. Plenipotentiary Minister of Economy of the Embassy of Korean Republic in Russia - Daesoo Kang has also visited the event.

Congress was organized by the public organization “Association of Rheumatologists of Russia” with the support of federal budgetary institution “Scientific-research institute of rheumatology named after V. A. Nasonova” and in terms of the Program for postgraduate continuous medical education specialized in “rheumatology”. More than 1200 doctors from all regions of Russian Federation, as well as CIS countries – Belorussia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan and foreign countries have participated in this event.
