Ceres F&D was founded in 2018. Ceres F&D is a subsidiary company of Alteogen that manufactures Tacrolimus, Vancomycin HCl, and Teicoplanin. Also, Ceres F&D is the sole distributor of Tergase®. 

Our main role is manufacturing API. The second role is exporting Alteogen's commercialized products.

Ceres F&D is a bio-venture company with KGMP facilities and Production/QA/QC teams of the highest standards. Also, CERES F&D is developing new biomedical products (Everolimus, Sirolimus).

Tacrolimus (API)

• Tacrolimus is a polyketide macrolide lactone with immunosuppressive activity. It is primarily used to reduce the risk of organ rejection in patients with allogeneic organ transplantation. It is also used to treat autoimmune diseases, such as atopic dermatitis.
• Tacrolimus is a highly potent immunosuppressant. Compared to similar immunosuppressant cyclosporine, tacrolimus has been shown to be 10 to 100 times more potent and have fewer side effects, such as hypertension, hirsutism, and gingival hyperplasia.

Teicoplanin

Teicoplanin is an antibiotic prescribed as a last resort for patients infected with super-bacteria, such as MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and VRE (vancomycin-resistant enterococci). Teicoplanin is a mixture of several compounds, five major in the teicoplanin A2 group and four minor in the teicoplanin Rs group, which all have a glycopeptide common core termed teicoplanin A3-1.

 Vancomycin HC

• Vancomycin is a glycopeptide antibiotic with a cyclic heptapeptide core aglycone, which is a difficult structure for chemical synthesis. It has a bactericidal activity that inhibits cell wall synthesis and is used to treat infections due to Gram-positive bacteria. It is used to treat infections due to bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics, like penicillin or cephalosporin.
• Vancomycin is produced mainly by industrial fermentation. It is typically administered intravenously and used to treat various infections, such as sepsis, skin infections, urinary tract infections, and intestinal infections. It is also administered as oral or ophthalmic agents for the treatment of intestinal and eye disease infections.
