Anticancer Drug

The cytotoxic anticancer drug factory (Building A) is the very first independent facility of its kind Ildong Group is in South Korea capable of producing both injection and solid preparations. The factory is equipped with a fluidized bed granulator, a single-line manufacturing system that mixes, combine, assembles, and dries the products while preventing external contamination of the cytotoxic anticancer ingredients. In the manufacturing process utilizing this system, airtight bins are used to completely suppress dust particles that can affect the purity of the finished products.

API

The cephalosporin antibiotics factory (Building C) has the production capacity to manufacture all types of formulations including lyophilized and powdered injections, internal solid dosage forms, capsules, and dried syrups. The factory’s manufacturing system that is almost completely automated has enhanced both productivity and quality. In addition to the ERP system that was adopted in 2004, the most optimal environment for drug production has been created with an automated warehouse and a Building Management System (BMS) that automatically controls pressure differentials, temperatures, and humidity.

API

The Cheongju Plant of Ildong Pharmaceutical produces active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The plant facilities are fully certified for GMP to produce superior APIs, and its manufacturing and quality divisions perform their operations independently. Based on synthesis technologies and strict production management, the plant develops new products and improves manufacturing processes to produce high-quality APIs.
