In order to fight an unabating third wave of the coronavirus, a 40ft container is converted to a BSL2+ laboratory to speed up the testing. Smart Mobile Lab (SML) is the first-ever mobile container type lab for on-site COVID-19 testing developed in Korea. It offers one-stop corona testing within a matter of minutes and it can be set up quickly, flexibly, and at any location, separate from the building to prevent the spread of a contagious virus.

Based on our previous experience in the delivery of SML in Indonesia, we have upgraded our Smart Mobile Lab.

The new upgraded version of SML has three functional rooms including a sample collection room for RAPID test kits, RNA extraction room, and PCR room for the gold standard COVID-19 testing (rt-PCR) as well. SML deals with all processes from sample collection, viral RNA extraction, real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), diagnosis, analysis, and results! SML also contains self-closing doors, a negative pressure machine, a pass box, and more.
